Designing new nanomaterials through chemical modulations

  • Solid-Solid phase transformations induced through cation exchange

and strain in 2D heterostructured copper sulfide nanocrystals

The chemical modulation through the secondary transformation of as-synthesized nanomaterials is an emerging and powerful method to tailor nanomaterial composition and morphology.

  • Nanoparticle synthesis

The synthesis of nanoparticle has been studied extensively due to their scientific significance as well as technology applications. We can control the morphology of nanomaterials for tuning their properties in a nanoscale system.

  • Chemical transformation

In nanoscale system, the chemical transformation of nanoparticle has attracted attention as a suitable synthetic method for the manufacturing of new types of materials. Post-synthetic chemical transformation using nanoparticle template is an attractive method to fabricate new structures and composition. Our research has been studied for controlling the composition and morphology of nanoparticle by chemical transformation and applied for various area.

  • Fluorescence functionalized magnetic nanoparticles

Iron oxide (Fe3O4) is an excellent magnet featured. Their magnetic property have been widely used for bio- and medical-science in the form of nanosized particle. The fluorescence functionalization on the magnetic nanoparticle also studied for bio-medicine. We synthesized the functionalized magnetic nanoparticle and applied in bio-application.
